Marjory Bisset has lived in Shinfield since 2004 and joined the parish council early in 2008. She works at home as a copy-editor and proofreader. She has a particular interest in environmental issues, and is the council's liaison person for the Rushy Mead Wind Turbine project, and is leading the working group looking at communications within the parish. She is a governor of Shinfield Infants School. She is married and has two grown-up children.
