Dawn Peer has lived in Spencers Wood since 1976, and joined the Parish Council in October 2008. She is a bereavement counsellor and Area Chair of Cruse Bereavement Care, a national charity supporting the well-being of bereaved people; the area covered includes Shinfield Parish. Dawn believes our villages should maintain their individual characteristics with clear undeveloped areas between them, and supports local traffic management schemes to enhance the well-being of the Parish's residents. She has a great interest in environmental and wildlife issues, and lists her interests as; reading, watching films and documentaries, politics and caring for her animals. Married, she has a grown-up daughter who is an equestrian.
