Swallowfield Community Responders vehicle launch

The Swallowfield and Spencers Wood Responder Scheme has bought a BMW X3 vehicle, thanks to the sterling fundraising efforts of members of the group, a £10K grant from The National Lottery Fund and the generous contributions received from local Parish Councils. The vehicle is a 'first' for Community Responder schemes in Berkshire and will give the group excellent all-weather capability to respond to life-threatening medical emergencies in Swallowfield, Spencers Wood, Shinfield, Farley Hill, Arborfield, Beech Hill and Mortimer.

There will be a formal launch on Tuesday 29th November from 3:30 – 5:30 pm at Swallowfield Village Hall, Swallowfield Street, Swallowfield, RG6 1QX. For further information go to the scheme's website.
