Recreation and Amenities

The Recreation and Amenities Committee meets about six times a year at 7.30 pm, on varying days of the week. 

The Recreation and Amenities Committee manages and monitors all council properties, recreation grounds, sports facilities, and allotments. The committee is empowered to control its own budget within the agreed expenditure allocations and sets hire rates for its amenities. In addition, the committee organises the annual competitions for the best kept front garden and allotment.
